This pedestrian bridge, inaugurated in December 2024, links the UNESCO-listed old town with Fortin Park, spanning a canal that once served as a defensive moat. For centuries the Foša separated the island city from the mainland—today it connects them. Take a look at its shape: it recalls the upturned hull of a ship, a nod to the shipbuilding tradition that made Trogir famous. Built entirely of steel at the Vranjic shipyard, the bridge was installed in a single piece in just one day. Its asymmetrical, openwork design was created to blend harmoniously into the historic setting without hiding the surrounding monuments. By night, its slender lines and metallic glow shimmer on the water, offering Trogir a striking new contemporary postcard image.
