You have to climb up all the way to the top of Castle Hill to be able to enjoy the best view over Nice. This place is such a highlight that Nice went so far as to install a free elevator so that nobody misses it!! You can take it, or use the stairs. You should know that the elevator will take you only to the 1st viewpoint. You still have to walk a little more to get to the top.
