If it happens to be Sunday and you find the gates closed, simply retrace your steps and walk around the garden by taking Via Brera. Otherwise, enjoy this moment of calm and take your time crossing this beautiful space, created in 1774 by Maria Theresa of Austria to promote the study of pharmaceutical botany.
