Losing yourself among its many stalls, through the fruit stands or the fish counters, you’ll see it’s more than just a boost for the local economy—it’s a way of life. If you weren’t aware, Rialto Market is divided into three sections. First, there’s the Pescheria, serving all kinds of fish. Then the Erbaria, dedicated to fruits and vegetables. And finally, the Beccaria, specialising in meat. Although some products are imported, many come from near Venice. Just look at the labels—some have travelled across the lagoon!
