Tornabuoni Street is one of the most central and historic streets in Florence. Built on the site of the city’s ancient Roman walls, it’s now lined with luxury boutiques and several palaces constructed between the 15th and 17th centuries for the city’s wealthiest families. In the past, processions, parades, and outdoor games were hosted here, which explains why the area became so popular and lively.
