The Arco della Pace, also called the Arch of Triumph of the Simplon, is a neoclassical monument about twenty metres high, located at the end of the Parco Sempione, in line with the Sforza Castle. Imposing and richly decorated with sculptures, it evokes the ancient triumphal arches and its famous Parisian counterpart. Dedicated to peace, it is one of the great monuments of Milan.
