You’re now in the heart of the Klosteret district - a quiet, tucked-away part of Bergen, more peaceful than the busyBryggen quarter. Here, you’ll find plenty of traditional Scandinavian architecture. In the 18th century, a new shipyard was built on the Nordnes Peninsula. Workers came from all over and began building their homes near the harbour, which grew into the charming neighbourhood you’re exploring today.
