Bolhão Market

You’ve now reached the edge of Bolhão Market, one of Porto’s absolute must-sees and a listed historic monument since 2006. Built in 1914 over what used to be a marsh, it gathered merchants in one lively hub — whereas before, they would sell their products across town. To reflect the market’s spirit, four neo-Gothic gates were installed, marking the entrance to this food heaven on Earth. You have everything here: fish stores, butcher’s shops, delicatessens bakeries, and even florists. It’s the perfect place to shop like a local and soak up the authentic spirit of the city!
