About two kilometres long, the park is much appreciated by the inhabitants, who come to do their jogging, to stroll, to cycle or to picnic in the shade of the trees. It is a place where nature, history and daily life meet harmoniously, as often in Mérida. Following its paths, you pass under the arches of the aqueduct, you walk along the river and you enjoy a peaceful setting at the gates of the monumental centre.
