Capuchinos Square

This square, lined with whitewashed façades, has been known as Capuchinos since the early 17th century. Flanked by convents on either side, it’s home to the Cristo de los Faroles, or Christ of lanterns,a sculpture dating back to 1794, named after the eight lanterns that surround and illuminate it at nightfall. It’s considered one of the most peaceful squares in Córdoba. With its simple architecture and unmistakable Andalusian charm, it’s one of the city's most beloved spots.
