Granada Gate Viewpoint

This viewpoint is located in Juan Carlos I Park, right next to the Granada Gate, which was built in 1748. From here, you get a sweeping view of Antequera’s old town, featuring the Arab Alcazaba and the Royal Collegiate Church of Santa María la Mayor rising above rows of whitewashed houses. It’s the perfect place to pause for a moment, and relax in the park, where you’ll also find a kids’ play area and a fountain made from the distinctive red stone of the nearby Torcal de Antequera.
