This small flowered park, endowed with a memorial monument to the painter El Greco, offers a magnificent view over the river and the hills of Toledo. From here, one measures how much the Tagus surrounds the city, protecting it with its waters like a natural rampart. On the left, the building that juts out at the cliff edge is the former Saint Giles convent, from the seventeenth century, which today houses the Legislative Assembly of Castile-La Mancha. Many hiking paths, on the opposite bank, allow one to admire the city as a whole, in one of its finest panoramas.
