The work of Domènech i Montaner

The palace is the work of Lluís Domènech i Montaner, a great modernist architect who was Gaudí's teacher and influenced a whole generation. We also owe him the masterpiece of the Sant Pau hospital. These two creations are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The Palau de la Música Catalana is moreover the only concert hall in the world to benefit from this listing, a testimony to the exceptional nature of its architecture.
