On your left you’ll find the Soho district, a perfect marriage between underground culture and urban art. Soho, also nicknamed the art district, runs along Córdoba Street and was once totally abandoned. Thanks to a local initiative, Malagueños partnered with the Málaga Arte Urbano Soho (MAUS) collective to transform this space in what it is today. Several artists have made these streets their open-air studios, where walls, even entire facades, have become canvases for everything from graffiti to more elaborate works. One of the most popular images is the iconic “Málaga Loves Art,” a tag created in 2019 by Italian graffiti artist TV-Boy, illustrating Málaga-born actors like Antonio Banderas. Another worthy mention is the enormous mural depicting a chameleon painted in black and white by Belgian artist ROA. Savor your walk through the crème de la crème of global street art, where every wall tells a story.
