The Nydegg bridge

The four small houses of the bridge served to collect the toll until 1853. Opposite, behind the shimmering river, lies an overall view of historic Berne, dominated by its fine Gothic collegiate church. The old town, encircled by the loop of the Aare, is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
