When it comes to annual event programming, Bordeaux is the complete opposite of its nickname "Sleeping Beauty".

To general surprise, the worlds of wine and gastronomy are at the heart of Bordeaux's highlights. The local heritage is so substantial and diverse that several events dedicated to local productions take place throughout the year.

Good news for travelers who don't drink or drink little alcohol: you won't be left out. Non-alcoholic cocktails are really delicious in Bordeaux and events are full of culinary specialties more delicious than each other! You'll have the opportunity to taste them at most culinary events.

Free or paid, for general public or intimate, the choice of Bordeaux events is vast. An almost paradoxical observation, because overall, the city is rather quiet. Music and family pop-ups, here and there, might surprise you during your walks on the Atlantic coast.
