Viewpoint from La Concha Beach

In front of you is a breathtaking view of La Concha Bay, the pride of San Sebastian, often named one of the most beautiful bays in the world. This beach, whose name means “shell” in Basque, is right in the city centre and is the main reason why so many visitors flock here during the summer months! From this viewpoint, you can spot the small island of Santa Clara in the middle of the bay, with Mount Igueldo rising behind it, and Mount Urgull to your right. You’ll also see San Sebastian’s City Hall to your right, along with the statue near Mota Castle, just above the old town. All of that framed by the sweeping curve of La Concha Beach stretching out below. What more could you ask for?
