This park is one of the most popular parks in France and for good reason! Since its opening in 1987, Futuroscope Park has never stopped innovating and pushing the limits of the extraordinary!
A completely crazy bet, designed to revive a rural department in the town of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, and an incredible success with more than 50 million visitors since its inauguration!
So, you better plan your visit to this city of the future well, because you won't be the only ones making the trip for a weekend or longer! An obvious fact that you can only see from the park entrance, and visiting Futuroscope in 1 day requires preparation.
Anticipate your visit to Futuroscope
This may seem obvious to you if you're the planning type, yet given the long queues at the entrance booths, many people buy their tickets once they're there.
When you know your dates, book your tickets directly online on the Futuroscope park website! This will give you better visibility of the different options offered and allow you to enter without having to queue. Please note that you can also book an "open" ticket with flexible dates for an additional 10€.
How long to visit the park?
- 1 DAY: If you only have one day to visit Futuroscope, don't panic, you already have time to enjoy it well. In one day, you can do your favorite attractions (especially if you follow all our tips!) and maybe even repeat one or two.
- 2 DAYS: If you have young children and want to visit the park at a less intense pace, take your time to eat, browse the shops, etc., basically not run around everywhere (after all, it's vacation), then opt for a visit spread over 2 days and 1 night. Especially since the evening show is quite late.
- 3 DAYS: Spending 3 days and 2 nights at Futuroscope will really be reserved for absolute fans, others will probably find it's starting to be too much!

Which ticket to choose to visit Futuroscope?

Once on the website, you can choose from the different offers available through a search engine where you indicate your dates, number of people and desired number of nights. You can choose to buy tickets only if you want to visit Futuroscope for 1 day, or take a ticket/hotel combo directly.
The ticket price varies according to the selected day, naturally, and tells you which night show is available that evening.
Once this step is validated, you will be offered two passes with different pricing that give you certain advantages:
- PREMIUM + PASS: from 40€ / Pass / day
The Premium + Pass gives you priority access to 5 attractions of your choice + 10% discount in partner shops (except souvenir photos) - GOLD PASS: from 99€ / Pass / day
The Gold Pass gives you unlimited priority access to all Futuroscope attractions and 1 priority access to 3 Futuropolis activities + Free park parking and 15% discount in partner shops (excluding souvenir photos).
You can then add restaurant reservations, either at "Arthur's Table" buffet, near the Arthur, the 4D adventure attraction, or at the "SpaceLoop Restaurant" where your dishes arrive in front of you at full speed sliding on roller coasters for new experiences. Halfway between the sushi train and the roller coaster! Gourmet Tickets are also available and valid in all park restaurants.
Other options are also available, such as adding the "Zero Gravity" experience, to experience free fall or a behind-the-scenes tour of the park, 45 minutes before it opens!
Which hotels to sleep in at Futuroscope park?

The park offers you 11 hotels to choose from to spend the night on site. The simplest is to book your accommodation when you buy your tickets, but you can also do it later by choosing the "I already have my tickets" option.
There is only one hotel actually on site, with a connecting walkway. It's the Futuroscope aparthotel. It's the most convenient, but books up quickly.
The others are a bit further away but are accessible on foot in about 10 minutes on secure pedestrian areas. You'll find all the classic major hotel chains there.
2022 Novelty: the Station Cosmo **** hotel offers you the experience of sleeping in a real space station!
July 2023 Novelty: The Ecolodge Village welcomes you just steps from Futuroscope in a preserved natural setting, in cabins by the water! After the day's shows, the great show of Mother Nature live from your terrace!

Travel off-season
Generally speaking, being flexible pays off! If you can, don't hesitate to plan your visit outside school holidays and preferably on weekdays! You'll have Futuroscope almost all to yourself!
Moreover, the park regularly offers promotions to attract visitors year-round with interesting rates in low season!
The fast-pass allows access to attractions without waiting (paid supplement from 40 to 400€ premium).
Think about apps
Yes, our current world is full of apps that support us daily. There are two that will be really very useful to you at Futuroscope!
Your new best friend is called Lineberty. It allows you to virtually get in a queue and will notify you when it's your turn while you're visiting Futuroscope. A special access is set up, where you'll enter almost directly.
It's valid in many stores in France and on certain Futuroscope attractions! Among others: La Vienne Dynamique, L'Extraordinaire Voyage, Sébastien Loeb Racing Xperience, La Machine à Voyager dans le Temps. Go to Lineberty!
The park also has its own app! It calculates live waiting times for various attractions and allows you to view the park map, find for example, restrooms, picnic tables and restaurants or calculate the route to your next attraction.
Go against the flow
When visiting a highly touristic place, it's better not to do like everyone else. Here are some tips to escape the crowds.
- Get up early!
- Arrive through the secondary entrance at the back of the park (the TGV walkway from the station) for direct access to the park.
- Therefore start with the attractions at the back and move forward against the flow.
- Prepare your park route in advance (it's big!).
- Eat late and take advantage of less dense queues between noon and two.
- Exit through the main entrance.
